The Maybrook Mansion was first built in 1881 as a summer home for distiller and business magnate Henry Gibson. The historic Philadelphia structure was named by combining his daughter’s name, May, with the stream that ran across the 36-acre property. This remarkable 20,000 square foot Gilded Age historic home showcases stunning woodwork paneling and carvings, decorative ironwork, painted glass windows, and showpiece fireplaces throughout the rooms, which include a grand hall entrance, game room, parlor, pub room, and a dining room, now providing a significant amenity base for Maybrook’s current residents.
